Thank you for sending us your ... I mean, for attending the initial sessions of Law School.

As Professor A. Uldbastard expressed in admittedly impolitic wording in front of the whole class last week (and we do apologize for the assault), we are unable to retain you in our classroom(s) at this time.

Perhaps, if student enrolment drops significantly say, for example, as a result of a recession or something like that, we might be able to readmit you.

We wish you the very best in admission elsewhere such as Harvard Law School or even Oxford.

I hear that Cambridge isn't too bad as well but a tad nippy in February!
