Earth Movement: Phenomena related to forces operating within the earth itself, and not to the merely superficial effects of external forces, such as erosion by run-off rainwater.
Plug and Abandon Order: A direction to a oil well operator to permanently close the well.
Pollutant: A solid, liquid, gaseous, or thermal irritant or contaminant.
Pollution: The discharge of a toxic or contaminating substance that is likely to have an adverse effect on the natural environment or life.
Public Nuisance: A nuisance (tort) which interferes with public convenience or welfare.
Renewable Energy: Electrical energy derived from naturally occurring resources and which do not deplete the source as energy is produced.
