The recipient of a trust; either the trustee or the beneficiary.

Another word to describe the beneficiary of a trust but depending on the context, may also refer to the trustee.

Also used to describe the person who is the recipient of a power of attorney; the person who would have to exercise the power of attorney; in that case, otherwise and preferably known as the attorney.
