Stab Wound Definition:

A bodily injury caused by a knife or other sharp or pointed instrument.

"Stab wound means a wound that is caused by a knife or other sharp or pointed instrument and appears to have been inflicted by another person."

Thus is defined stab wound within the Manitoba, Canada statute, the Gunshot and Stab Wounds Mandatory Reporting Act (2011 version).
