More About LIES

Ouch.

Ok, we've got ourselves a gullible one here. Hmmmm.....

gull i ble: easily cheated or duped. Hence "gullibility".

face manNot a good sign for a Law School candidate. But don't feel too badly; you're not the first person to end up here.

We are threatening to throw you out.

Select a response from this list:

  1. Slip a hundred-dollar bill into our hand.
  2. Beg for mercy. Tell us about your impoverished background. Show us pictures of the family back home in Cowville, Kansas that you're supporting since your dad died when you were twelve. Think of the day your cat died to force a tear down your cheek. Sob as you try to speak for additional emotional effect.
  3. Say that you knew damn well that LIES was a hoax but you just wanted to see what would happen if you selected that option. You weren't born yesterday and, besides, inquisitiveness is an important attribute for a law school candidate.
  4. "View Source" of this web page to see which of these responses will get you back into the game.

By the way, we will soon apply to the official Law School Admission Council, the BIG CHEESE of LSAT accrediation, for accreditation. Until they have accepted our application (and we don't expect this to take more than a few decades), you may not want to mention your affiliation with us. Not that we're outlawed by them or anything...it's just that, well, we do things differently.

It’s War: British Columbia Lawyers Take on the Judges and the AG

The PR tanks are rolling out in British Columbia as lawyers take up arms against a fundamental rule change proposal suggested not just by an elected Attorney General but in the back drop, in black gown and red sash, the sheepish grins of superior court judges.

The Art Of Trial: Private and Confidential!

Trial, for the layperson (read "non-lawyer") is a source of tremendous stress and nervousness. You rarely see standing-room only line-ups at the public galleries of the Courthouse. But for lawyers, they are masochistic labours of love; a chunk of time where the stress is through the roof but so, too, is the intensity.

China Politburo - Take A $%##@!@@ Hike

A lone student stands-down a row of four communist tanks and still, 19 years later, lawyers and international law experts with far less courage, ... tremble and wait.

Unless otherwise noted, this article was written by Lloyd Duhaime, Barrister, Solicitor, Attorney and Lawyer (and Notary Public!). It is not intended to be legal advice and you would be foolhardy to rely on it in respect to any specific situation you or an acquaintance may be facing. In addition, the law changes rapidly and sometimes with little notice so from time to time, an article may not be up to date. Therefore, this is merely legal information designed to educate the reader. If you have a real situation, this information will serve as a good springboard to get legal advice from a lawyer.
